  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

The magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) is an unique method to detect various metabolites in the brain non-invasively. Both 31P-and 1H-MRS can be obtained from the single, localized region (single-voxel method) or the multiple, localized region (multi-voxel method) in the brain. The MRS is represented as a form of spectrum mainly. However, by the multi-voxel method which is devoloped recently, the distribution of each metabolite in the brain can be visualized by the metabolite mapping.
