片側精巣無形成患児にみられた鼠径部異所性副腎

Ectopic Adrenal Tissue in Inguinal Region in Child with Left Vanishing Testis : A Case Report

　症例は1歳3か月，男児。主訴は左非触知精巣。右精巣は陰嚢内に触知したが，左精巣は触知不能であったため，腹腔鏡を準備した上で鼠径部を切開し，鼠径管を開放した。その際，鼠径管内に細い索状物を認め，それを陰嚢方向にたどっていくと米粒大の腫瘤を認めたため，精巣萎縮の診断で摘出した。病理組織検査の結果では精巣組織は認められなかったが，精索と思われた部分に異所性副腎を認めた。

A 1-year-old-boy visited our department with a complaint of left impalpable testis. An exploratory operation disclosed a cord in the inguinal canal, and a small mass in the scrotum. We thought the mass as testicular nubbin, so we removed it. Pathological examination disclosed an ectopic adrenal tissue at the part of the spermatic cord, without any tes-ticular tissue.
