　最近23年間に治療した精巣腫瘍は229例で，経過中に両側性精巣腫瘍をみたものは8例（3.5％）であり，同時発症が2例（0.9％），異時発症が6例（2.6％）であった。初発年齢は平均30.5歳，続発までの間隔は平均66.6か月であった。病期は続発例の1例を除きすべて病期Ⅰであった。続発例6例中1例のみ初発時に化学療法と放射線療法が行われた。組織型は両側セミノーマが4例，セミノーマと非セミノーマが3例，両側非セミノーマが1例であった。予後は良好で全例生存（平均54.4か月）している。患者に対側発生の危険性があることを十分に説明し，自己触診により早期に対側発症を発見することを教育することが最も重要と思われた。

Between 1976 and 1998, we treated 229 patients with testicular germ cell cancers. A total of 8 patients (3.5%)had bailateral testicular cancer with mean observation period of 41 months.Two (0.9%) had a synchronous tumor and in the remaining 6 (2.6%) the secondary tumor were observed for an interval of 7 to 276 months (mean 66.6months). Stage of all initial tumors and 5 secondary tumorswere stage I and only one case of secondary was stage II. Bilateral seminoma was found in 4 patients and non-semi-noma germ cell tumor was noted in one patient. Another 3 patient had different histological findings in each testis.
