黄色肉芽腫性精巣上体炎

Xanthogranulomatous Epididymitis:A Case Report

　35歳，男性。主訴は右陰嚢部腫瘤であった。右精巣上体頭部から鼠径部にかけて，軽度の圧痛を伴った数珠状の腫瘤を認めた。炎症性と悪性との鑑別が難しかったため，腫瘤摘除術を施行した。病理組織学的所見は非常に稀な黄色肉芽腫性精巣上体炎であり，自験例は本邦第3例目と思われた。

A 35-year-old man visited our hospital with the complaint of a right scrotal mass. The mass was bead-like, and located at epididymis head to inguinal canal with mild tender-ness. Because it was difficult to distinguish between inflam-mation and malignancy, tumorectomy was performed. The pathological findings indicated xanthogranulomatous epi-didymitis. To our knowledge, this is the 3rd case of xan-thogranulomatous epididymitis reported in Japan.
