小柴胡湯にて改善した放射線性膀胱炎の1例

Successful Treatment of Radiation Cystitis with an Administration of Shosaikoto

　73歳，男性。膀胱癌にて放射線療法施行後，肉眼的血尿と頻尿が出現したため来院した。放射線性膀胱炎の診断にて小柴胡湯を内服し，症状は消失した。一時的に投与を中止したところ，再び血尿が出現した。凝固術後に内服を再開し，4か月を経過した現在，血尿を認めていない。小柴胡湯の投与は簡便で副作用もなく，良好な止血効果を有し，放射線性膀胱炎に対する有効な治療法と考えられる。

A 73-year-old man who had been received irradiation under the diagnosis of bladder tumor was admitted to our hospital complaining gross hematuria and frequent urina-tion. The diagnosis of radiation cystitis was established, and oral administration of kampo shosaikoto (7.5g/day) was started. He showed excellent effects and a short stop of medication resulted recurrent hematuria. By readmin-istration of shosaikoto after transurethral coagulation, gross hematuria disappeared.
