腸腰筋膿瘍の2例

PSOAS ABSCESS:REPORT OF TWO CASES

　腸腰筋膿瘍の2例を経験した。抗菌剤投与後，症例1では腰部斜切開による切開排膿術を施行し，症例2では超音波ガイド下に穿刺吸引を施行した。超音波，CTで腸腰筋膿瘍が疑われた場合は適切なドレナージと抗菌剤投与を行うことが重要なことは言うまでもなく，症例2では基礎疾患としての糖尿病のコントロールが重要であった。

We report two cases of psoas abscess. In case 1, a-69-year-old woman was referred to our department because of slightly persistent fever and right hydronephrosis. In case 2, a-37-year-old uncontrolled diabetic woman was hospitalized because of further examination of left retroperitoneal mass and persistent inflammatory findings. Psoas abscess was diagonosed by ultrasonography and computed tomography in both cases. Antibiotic therapy was instituted in both cases and insulin therapy was also begun in case 2.
