陰嚢内良性中皮腫の1例

A CASE OF INTRASCROTAL BENIGN MESOTHELIOMA

　20歳，男性．左陰嚢内の有痛性腫瘤として受診．左副睾丸炎と陰嚢水腫として経過を見るが，再発を繰り返すため，1990年1月24日陰嚢水腫根治術施行．一度退院したが，同年3月末より再び左陰嚢上部の腫脹と牽引痛出現．4月4日手術にて拇指頭大の腫瘤を摘出したが，術中組織診で悪性を否定できず，結局除睾した．病理組織は良性中皮腫であった．

A 20-year-old man visited our hospital with the chief complaint of pain and mass in the left scrotum. The diagnosis was left hydrocele testis and epididymitis. The hydrocele recurred four times in two years, then left hydrocelectomy was performed by Bergmann's technique. Two months after the hydrocelectomy, however, left scrotal pain and mass increased again. The tumor was removed immediatly together with left or-chiectomy because of suspected malignancy. Pathologically, the tumor was intrascrotal benign mesothelioma of tunica vaginalis propria. The patient has been followed up uneventfully for 8 months.
