小さい腎癌の超音波像と組織像

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN HISTOPATHOLOGY AND ULTRASONOGRAPHY OF SMALL RENAL CELL CARCINOMAS

　摘出標本にて腫瘍の最大径が30mmまでの無症候性腎癌6例について，病理組織所見と超音波像とを比較検討した。その結果，超音波的浸潤度と病理組織学的進展度との間には良好な相関が認められた。また超音波像とある程度相関する病理所見として，腫瘍の被膜と隔壁の形成程度，および腫瘍組織内に占める間質成分の割合が挙げられた。一方，腫瘍細胞の異型度や胞体の染色性などの細胞レベルの病理所見と腫瘍の超音波像との間には，一定の相関を見いだせなかった。

Ultrasonographic features of 6 small renal cell carcinomas whose greatest diameter were less than 30 mm, were studied in relation to the histopathologic findings of surgically resected specimens. Ultrasono-graphic findings were correlated well with some histopathological parameters including the stage and the formation of capsules as well as septi of the tumors. No relationship was noted, however, between sonographic findings and cytological characters of tumor cells, such as cellular atypia and cytoplasmic staining patterns.
