左鼠径部に発生した骨外性粘液性軟骨肉腫のまれな1例を経験した。症例は46歳の男性で，打撲の既往のある左鼠径部に軽度疼痛のある小鶏卵大の腫瘤が発生し腫瘍摘出術を行った。われわれの調べ得た限りでは，骨外性粘液性軟骨肉腫を自験例を含め91例集計したが，鼠径部発生例は5例のみであった。併せて本腫瘍の臨床統計的観察を行った。
A 46-year-old male presented with a history of a slowly growing tumor at the left inguinal region for the past 15 months. The resected tumor measuring 5 by 4 cm and weighing 68 g, was histopatho-logically diagnosed as an extraskeletal myxoid chondrosarcoma. The patient is free of tumor recurrences and metastases 13 months after the operation. We discussed the clinical features of extraskeletal myxoid chondrosarcoma.
