更年期にみられた膀胱エンドメトリオーシス

VESICAL ENDOMETRIOSIS OF POST-CLIMACTERIC WOMAN

　55歳，女性。十数年前から定期的に膀胱刺激症状を訴え，難治性膀胱炎として治療をうけていた。更年期になり一時発症をみなかったが，近年再び同症状を訴えるようになったため精査施行したところ膀胱エンドメトリオーシスを認めた。膀胱エンドメトリオーシスは一般に成熟女性にみられ，更年期に発症するのは稀である。

A 55-year-old female was admitted with recurrent and intractable cystitis. Despite of meticulous antibiotics administration vesical irritability and pyuria were not improved. Further examinations reve-aled a retrovesical abnormal mass with tenderness and partial cystectomy was performed. Pathological diagnosis of the specimen was endometriosis of the urinary bladder. Vesical endometriosis of post-climacteric woman is so rare that we were unable to obtain correct diagnosis preoperatively. The pertinent literature is reviewed.
