精索平滑筋肉腫の1例

LEIOMYOSARCOMA OF THE SPERMATIC CORD: REPORT OF A CASE

　88歳で無痛性陰嚢内腫瘤を主訴に来院した右精索平滑筋肉腫の1例を報告した。高位除睾術により重量350gの腫瘤を摘出し，病理組織学的に右精索から発生した平滑筋肉腫と診断された。術後BCG療法のみ行つたが，28カ月後の現在健康である。本邦10例目の報告である。

A 88-year-old patient had a painless mass of the right scrotal content which grandually enlarged during past 6 months. No metastatic lesion could be found, nor notable abnormalities in laboratory examination were noted. High orchidectomy was performed and the specimen revealed solid grayish tumor, 11.0×7.5×4.5cm in size and 350g in weight. Histological diagnosis was leiomyosarcoma arising from the right spermatic cord. Only BCG injection was performed postoperatively and patient is still healthy 28 months after the surgery. This was the 10 th reported case in Japan.
