  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

A 39-year-old woman was admitted to the hospital for severe right abdominal pain and vomiting, who had been treated for cervical carcinoma IIb with radical operation and external radiation (60Co 30 Gray) two and half years ago. A mass was palpated in the right abdomen. By CT-scanning, retro-grade pyelogram and clinical symptoms, which were acute abdominal pain, anemia, right abdominal tumor and shock, tentative diagnosis of right kidney rupture had been made. Right nephrectomy was performed. Gross appearance of the kidney was almost yellowish with hard consistency which looked like granuloma.
