サンゴ状結石に続発した巨大後腹膜腔膿瘍の1例

A CASE OF A GIANT RETROPERITONEAL ABSCESS SECONDARY TO STAGHORN CALCULI

緒言

　後腹膜腔膿瘍は，腎の感染性疾患から続発することが最も多いが，その原因として尿路結石の存在は重要である^1,2）。われわれは，腎サンゴ状結石に合併した巨大な後腹膜腔膿瘍を経験したので，後腹膜腔膿瘍の原因についての若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

A 44-year-old paraplegic male with von Recklinghausen's disease, who had had cystostomy for management of a neurogenic bladder, was referred for evaluation of recurrent pyelonephritis on March 8,1982.

An excretory urogram revealed bilateral staghorn calculi with diminution in renal function. He was treated with appropriate antibiotics at our outpatient clinic because of a high operative risk and was subsequently doing well. On December 5, 1983, he was hospitalized with the complaints of anorexia, abdominal discomfort and weakness.
