  • Look Inside

A 22-year-old woman, who had maintained a low urine volume without any metabolic disorder, underwent pyelolithotomy for bilateral renal stones in 1984. She returned to our hospital 2 years after operation and bilateral renal pelvic stones were noted again on an IVP. She was referred for ESWL and underwent 2, 600 shocks to the left renal stone and, 2 weeks later, 1, 400 shocks to the right renal stone. She became free of stones immediately after ESWL. She presented with weakness due to hypo-kalemia 3 weeks after ESWL.
