縫合糸による尿管異物結石の1例

FOREIGN BODY STONE IN THE URETER ORIGINATED FROM THE SUTURE THREAD: REPORT OF A CASE AND A REVIEW OF THE JAPANESE LITERATURE

緒言

　上部尿路結石は泌尿器科領域においては最も一般的な疾患であるが，異物が核となつて尿管結石を生じることは稀である。われわれは最近，以前に他病院で施行した尿管切石術で尿管縫合に使用されたと思われる絹糸が異物となり，結石の形成をみた症例を経験したので報告する。

A 50-year-old male with chief complaint of macroscopic hematuria was first examined at our hospital on Nov.8,1982. He had been undergone a left ureterolithotomy at another hospital three years before. X-ray examinations showed stone-like shadows at the right kidney and at the left ureter with left hydronephrosis. Left ureterolithotomy was performed which revealed a foreign body stone originated from the silkworm-gut used at the previous operation. Including our case, seven cases of suture-thread stone in upper urinary tract were reviewed in the Japanese literature.
