　10歳，男子の右鼠径部停留睾丸に合併した睾丸回転症の1例を報告する。本症は本邦報告例の集計にて58例目に当たる。本邦集計で術前診断と治療について検討した結果，最近では術前診断率が向上しているにもかかわらず，治療にて除睾術の頻度に低下がみられず睾丸保存の困難さが示唆された。治療成績向上のためには，他科医師への本症に対する啓蒙と停留睾丸症例への積極的な固定術の必要があると思われる。

We reported a ten-year-old boy who had torsion of the right inguinal undescended testicle. This case seems the 58 th in the Japanese literature. We discussed preoperative diagnosis and treatment of this disease. Although the rate of preoperative diagnosis has been increasing recently, frequent orchiec-tomies have still been performed. It is therefore necessary for this disease to be understood fully by all the doctors other than urologist.
