縫合糸による尿管異物結石

A CASE OF URETERAL FOREIGN BODY STONE ORIGINATED FROM THE SUTURE THREAD

　35歳，男性。過去数年間に左尿管切石術を2回施行されている。今回左側腹部痛，発熱を主訴として受診。左尿管結石と診断し，左尿管切石術施行した。結石は，ポリエステル糸を核として形成されており，前回の手術に際し尿管縫合に使用された縫合糸による尿管異物結石と判断した。

A 35-year-old male patient consulted our hospital complaining of the left flank pain and fever. He had undergone left ureterolithotomy twice at other hospital in these past several years. X-ray revealed two stones at the left kidney and three stones at the left ureter. Left ureterolithotomy was performed. The stones were 11 × 6 × 4 mm, 3 × 3 × 2 mm, and 10 × 5 × 3 mm in siz erespectively, and consisted of magnesiumammonium phosphate and calcium carbonate. The stones appeared to be foreign body stones, which had originated around the polyester suture used at the previous operation.
