  • Look Inside

A 28-year-old male fell from the bicycle and hit his left side on the ground on September 30, 1983. Gross hematuria was noted immediately after the accident. The patient was seen the following day because of abdominal distension and was admitted on emergency basis. Excretory urography on admission revealed a large mass, partly opaque by contrast material, compressing the bowel to the right upper abdomen. Also a large mass with high density area was seen occupying nearly all abdominal plane on computed tomography. Giant hydronephrosis complicated with renal trauma was suspected.
