軟性膀胱鏡の使用経験

EXPERIENCE WITH FLEXIBLE CYSTOSCOPE

　24例の患者に対して26回の軟性膀胱鏡による検査および膀胱内の操作を行つた。全例挿入は容易であり，男性の患者においては硬性の膀胱鏡に比較して苦痛の軽減は著明であつた。5例において膀胱腫瘍の再発を発見し，3例で腫瘍のパンチ生検，2例で逆行性腎盂造影が可能であつた。膀胱内の検査あるいは処置を行う場合，軟性膀胱鏡は今後有力な手段になるものと期待される。

Flexible cystoscopy was used on 24 patients under topical urethral anesthesia. Insertion of the scope was successful in all patients and bladder tumors were detected in five patients. Ureteral catheters were inserted in two patients and cold punch biopsies were done in three patients successfully. With the flexible instrument patient comfort was remarkably improved.
