巨大水腎症の1例

A CASE REPORT OF GIANT HYDRONEPHROSIS

はじめに

　小児の先天性水腎症はまれなものでなく，腹部腫瘤をきたすものの一つとして小児科医，小児外科医も念頭に入れておかねばならない疾患である。最近，著者らは腹部腫瘤により発見され，呼吸障害，無尿などを来した著明な巨大水腎症を経験したので報告する。

A 7-month-old male infant was admitted to our clinic because of an abnormal distention of the abdomen. The distention progressed gradually and the patient developed a respiratory distress.

Giant hydronephrosis of the right kidney was diagnosed and right nephrectony was performed. As-pirated pelvic fluid amounted 2, 200ml. On the 38th-postoperative day. the patient suddenly developed anuria. Left hydronephrosis of moderate degree was diagnosed. Left pyeloplasty was performed and postoperative course was uneventful.
