女子旁尿道嚢腫の1例

A CASE OF PARAMEATAL CYST OF THE FEMALE URETHRA

緒言

　女子旁尿道嚢腫は，尿道腔中隔部に生じ尿道と交通のない嚢状の空洞である。本症に関する内外の報告例は非常に少なく，本邦では14例の報告があるだけである。最近，われわれは女子旁尿道嚢腫の1例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

A 50-year-old woman had a thumb-sized cystic mass just below and to the left of the external urethral meatus. She was asymptomatic and unaware of the swelling. Excretory urography (IVP) and cystoscopy showed no abnormalities except for right floating kidney. Needle aspiration and contrast medium injection revealed 1.8×1.9 cm ovoid mass below the margin of symphysis pubis. The cyst was excised locally. Postoperative healing and recovery were without complications. Histologically, the cyst was lined mainly by transitional cell epithelium with occasional interspersed area of cuboidal epithelium.
