緒言
尿路のケイ酸結石はきわめて稀なものであるが,最近,われわれはケイ酸結石による尿路結石症の1例を経験したので,ここに報告する。
A 65-year-old female visited our hospital with the complaint of anuria in May, 1980. Retrograde pyelography suggested the presence of stenotic portion of the right lower ureter. The operation was car-ried out in May 30 and a calculus was found. Analysis of the calculus revealed the main composition of the calculus was silica. The patient had a past history of the gastric ulcer for which longterm MgSiO2 was given as an anti-acid drug. It was thought that this was the cause of the caluculus. Silica stone was so rare that only 5 cases were reported in Japan.
