新生児睾丸捻転症の1例

A CASE OF TESTICULAR TORSION IN THE NEWBORN

緒言

　睾丸捻転症は，思春期に好発することはよく知られているが，一方新生児に発生する例の報告も多くされるようになつてきた。われわれは，生下時に存在したと考えられる新生児睾丸捻転症を経験したので報告するとともに若干の文献的考察を行なう。

The patient was at 39 week gestation. He was found to have a swollen left hemiscrotum on the first day of life and was admitted to our hospital on the 22 nd day after birth. A left inguinal exploration revealed a gangrenous testicle with the spermatic cord extravaginally twisted, which was then removed. Histopathological examination showed a hemorrhagic infarction of th testis.

We reviewed 33 cases of testicular torsion in the newborns from the Japanese literatures inclu-ding our case.
