腎被膜脂肪腫の1例

LIPOMA OF THE RENAL CAPSULE: REPORT OF A CASE

緒言

　腎の良性腫瘍は上皮性，非上皮性を問わずきわめてまれなものである。著者らは最近，腎被膜脂肪腫の1例を経験したので若干の文献的考察を加えて報告したい。

A 68-year-old man was admitted to our clinic in July, 1977 with a complaint of a palpable mass on the right abdomen. The pertinent finding on physical examination was a large, smooth, nontender abdominal mass which occupied the right half of the abdomen.

A number of radiological examinations showed a head sized benign tumor in the right renal capsule or in the right retroperitoneal cavity. Operation was performed on July 26, which disclosed a large lipoma originating in the right renal capsule. The total mass measured 21×17×15cm in length and weighted 3,220gm. Microscopic examinations showed pure lipoma.
