はじめに
腎珊瑚状結石は尿路X線検査を日常行なつているわれわれ泌尿器科医にとつては必ずしもめずらしいものではないが，最近，われわれは本邦文献上最大と思われる巨大な腎結石に遭遇した。この結石の摘出に成功したので，ここに症例を紹介する。
A 58-year-old male was admitted to our hospital on December 22, 1975 with more than 10 years history of left lumbar dull pain. Intermittent episodes of fever and hematuria had occurred in the past several days. He had a history of left renal trauma at the age of 20.
Urinalysis showed hematopyuria, while a urine culture was negative. Examination of the blood showed 11.2mg/dl hemoglobin and 10,000 white blood cells. Chemical analysis of blood revealed nor-mal. A plain abdominal roentgenogrm disclosed a large calcified mass on the left renal area, represen-ting a huge stone in the left kidney.
