化膿性孤立性腎嚢胞の1例

A CASE OF INFECTED SOLITARY RENAL CYST

はじめに

　化膿性孤立性腎嚢胞は腎実質内に比較的大きな，孤立性の化膿性嚢胞を形成したものをいい，その発生機序は明らかではないが，一般の腎膿瘍とはその病理像を異にするものである。本症の報告例はきわめてまれで，文献上欧米では17例，本邦では4例を数えるにすぎない。

　われわれは臨床経過と病理組織学的所見から，化膿性孤立性腎嚢胞と診断された症例を経験したのでここに報告し，若干の考察を加える。

Case is a 24 years old house wife, who was admitted for pyuria and right flank mass which was pointed out by a physician of a local hospital, when she visited there complaining dull right flank pain in April, 1968, with a history of furuncle of the face 2 months previously.

Pyuria disappeared by antibiotics, but was referred to the Urological clinic for low grade fever, pain and no diminution of mass, on may, 11.

Present status revealed an infant head sized, right kidney with tender fist sized, round elastic mass in the middle. Body temperature was 37.5℃ but blood count and chemistry with urinalysis were within normal limits.
