巨大膀胱結石の1例

A CASE OF GIANT VESICAL CALCULUS

緒言

　診断技術の向上で尿路結石は比較的小さいうちに発見，治療されるのがほとんどである。最近われわれは本邦における，200g以上の巨大膀胱結石49例中，21番目に相当する310gの巨大膀胱結石を経験したので報告する。

A 58 year old male, who had been suffering from cystitis for 10 years, visited our clinic with the chief complaint of frequent urination, dysuria, fever and chills, was diagnosed as vesical calculus.

The removed stone weighed 310g and the main component of this giant stone was urate.

The largest vesical calculi in the Japanese literature weighed 910g and there were 49 cases, including our case, weighing more than 200g.
