緒言

　膀胱尿管逆流（以下VURと略）の合併症として，腎盂腎炎，水腎症，水尿管症などはよく知られているが，最近われわれはVURが原因と思われる尿管下端の通過障害を経験したので報告する。

It is well known that vesico-ureteral reflux may cause pyelonephritis, hydronephrosis and hydroureter and there are some reports causing obstruction of the lower ureter.

Right VUR was discovered in a 6 year old boy with recurrent acute pyelonephritis. VUR had disappeared after 4 months administration of antibiotics but the lower end of right ureter showed remar-kable dilatation and tortuosity. Vesiconeostomy was performed after resecting and repairing the lower end of right ureter, and the cause of obstruction was suspected to be from the bended lower ureter. Postoperative course was uneventful.
