緒言
原発性膀胱腫瘍はそのほとんどが上皮性であるのに対し，間葉良性腫瘍は非常にまれなものである。今回われわれは子宮癌の集団検診時に偶然にも発見された膀胱平滑筋腫の1例を経験したので報告する。
A case of leiomyoma of the urinary bladder in a 50 year old house wife was reported and 27 cases collected from the Japanese literature were discussed. Bladder tumor was pointed out during routine examination for cancer of the uterus. Urinalysis was normal and a mass covered with normal bladder mucosa was found at the bladder neck by cystoscopic examination. The tumor weighing 15g removed surgically, was leiomyoma of bladder wall. The bladder mucosa was within normal limits and no signs of metastasis were noticed 7 months after surgery.
