AN OBSERVATION ON THE ANALYSIS OF URINARY STONES BY ELECTRON PROBE MICRO ANALYZER

はじめに

　尿石症の成因究明に結石の分析は欠くことのできぬ手段であり，これまでいろいろな方法が用いられてきた。化学的分析，鉱物顕微鏡による観察，X線回折法，赤外分光分析などが主なものであるが^1），最近Chambersら（1972）により蓚酸塩結石のElectron probe micro analysisが報告された^2）。著者らもこれを試みる機会を得たので，蓚酸塩結石のみならず尿酸結石，シスチン結石も分析してみた。

The small stones of oxalate, uric acid and cystine were analyzed by electron probe micro analyzer. The presence of calcium phosphate in the central nuclei of calcium oxalate calculi was demonstrated. However, there was no phosphate in the central nuclei of uric acid stones and cystine stones. It is suspected that the phosphate does not participate in the formation of uric acid stone and of cystine stone, even if the phosphate plays a role in the formation of oxalate stone.
