最近，前立腺悪性腫瘍のなかでも非常にまれな悪性中胚葉性混合腫瘍の1例を経験したので，報告するとともに若干の文献的考察を行なう。
A 37-year-old male was admitted to our hospital on September 16, 1971 for dysuria and hematuria. On rectal examination, the prostate showed remarkable swelling. Needle biopsy revealed sarcoma (suggestive of rhabdomyosarcoma) of the prostate. Radical vesicoprostatectomy with bilateral ureterosigmoidostomy and regional lymph node dissection was performed on October 1, 1971.
Postoperatively, the patient was given actinomycin D, methotrexate, and cyclophosphamide, but no radiation therapy. His condition continued to deteriorate and died on March 1,1972.
