緒言

　Priapismは最近ではさほどまれな疾患とはいえなくなつたが，現在なおその成因については不明な点も多く，確実な治療法もない。特にわれわれは治療後の勃起不能を防ぐことを重視しているが，従来の方法ではいずれも十分な成績を収め難い。

　1964年Grayhackらが各種の治療法に無効なPriapismにvenous Bypassを造設し術後勃起を認めたことから，その後欧米ではいくつかの追試がなされ，かなり有効な成績が報告されている。

There are various causes of priapism but beside the causative treatment, removal of the local blood clots are necessary.

Corpus-saphenous shunt as one of the surgical treatment, was performed in 44 and 43 year-old cases.Erection is still not noticed but is continuously followed. The technique and some points of attention were discussed. Unilateral venous bypass only, was sufficient and did not required bilateral procedure. It seems that bypass on the right side seems more satisfactory.
