腎杯憩室の成因について

CALYCEAL DIVERTICULUM: ITS PROBABLE GENESIS

緒言

　腎杯憩室はその疾患単位に関して，名称あるいは成因について議論が多い。著者は自験16例を含めた本邦例をもとにしてその臨床像を述べているが^1），自験例および内外の報告例を類似疾患を含めて検討した結果，本症についてひとつの見解をもつに至つたのでここに述べてみたい。

111 cases of calyccal diverticulum, including our 16 cases, were collected from the Japanese literature and their clinical findings were reported previously. On this paper the entity and genesis of this lesion were discussed.

On microscopic examination, not only the transitional cell epithelium and the smooth muscle tissue but also the cluster of collecting tubules, suggestive of the papilla, were seen in the diverticular wall of my cases. These findings suggest that the calyceal diverticulum corresponds to the renal calyx.
