401例の成人病健康診断における尿石症の統計的観察について

STATISTICAL SURVEY OF UROLITHIASIS ON 401 ELDER PATIENTS

Ⅰ．はじめに

　尿石症の統計的観察に関する研究は在来より数多くのものが知られて居るが，その殆んどが泌尿器科患者を中心として検討される為その数値が一般的に見て高値にすぎるきらいがある。幸い我々は当院成人病検診に際して腹都レ線単純撮影を基にして一般尿石症頻度を追求し得たのでその結果を発表する。

　1. Simple X-ray photography of the abdomen were taken rouinely by 401 elder male patients for the purpose of health examination between October, 1964 to August, 1965.

　2. Among the 401 cases, 124 cases (30%) showed abnormal findings in the abdomen 67 cases, including 2 cases suspicious of calculi, 27 cases with calcification of the cartilage of the ribs and 17 cases with miscellaneous findings, were in the upper abdomen and 57 cases, including 2 cases suspi-cious of calculi, 5 cases of phlebolith and 5 cases with miscellaneous findings, were in the lower abdomen.
