プレガバリンが有効だった難治性慢性前立腺炎

Incurable chronic prostatitis effectively treated with pregabalin

症例は37歳男性。2006年より，陰囊から会陰部にかけての不快感が出現し，2010年1月より他院で慢性前立腺炎にて治療するも，会陰部の疼痛のため会社も休職する状態となり，2010年10月当院を受診した。慢性前立腺炎/慢性骨盤疼痛症候群（NIH分類ⅢB）と考えられたが，通常の慢性前立腺炎の治療で症状は改善せず，プレガバリンの投与によりかなり改善し，職場復帰した。神経障害性疼痛による症状悪化であったと考えられた。

The patient was a 37-year-old man with scrotum and perineum discomfort since 2006. He was treated for chronic prostatitis in another clinic since January,2010,however his symptoms were not improved. His pain was so severe as to prevent him from his routine work. He visited our clinic in October,2010. Diagnosis was chronic prostatitis/non-inflammatory chronic pelvic pain syndrome. We gave him pregabalin which remarkably relieved symptoms. We think that his symptoms were mainly neuropathic pain.
