神経障害性疼痛を伴った過活動膀胱男性に対してプレガバリンが奏効した2例

Two cases of male with overactive bladder effectively treated with pregabalin

過活動膀胱ガイドラインにおいて，過活動膀胱の標準治療薬として抗コリン薬が推奨されているが，抗コリン薬がさまざまな理由で使用できない症例も存在する。今回の報告では，そのような過活動膀胱の男性2名に対し，神経障害性疼痛の要素をターゲットにして，プレガバリンを使用し，症状の改善を認めた。病的膀胱におけるC線維を経由した興奮伝達をプレガバリンが抑制することにより，過活動膀胱の症状を改善する可能性が示唆された。

In the guidelines for an overactive bladder,anti-cholinergic agents are recommended as standard drugs. However,there are a large number of patients in whom these agents cannot be employed for various reasons. In this study,pregabalin administration to 2 males with an overactive bladder relieved symptoms. Pregabalin may have inhibited C fiber-mediated excitation transmission in the morbid bladder,reducing overactive bladder symptoms.
