舌に発生した筋肉内脂肪腫の1例

A Case of Intramuscular Lipoma of the Tongue

　はじめに

　脂肪腫は非上皮性良性腫瘍の代表的疾患の1つで，全身の脂肪組織の存在する部分のいずれにも発生するが，背部，頸部，胸部などの皮下組織に多く発生し，口腔内に発生することは稀とされる^1）。筋肉内脂肪腫は良性脂肪腫の稀な一型で，四肢の大きな筋に好発する。口腔内に発生することは稀で^2），本邦では舌に発生した筋肉内脂肪腫は6症例の報告があるに過ぎない^3）。

　今回，われわれは舌に生じた筋肉内脂肪腫の1例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

A 65-year-old female patient presented with an intra-muscular lipoma located within the tongue. The size of tumor was 2.5 cm in diameter. Lipomas are common soft tissue tumors usually located in the subcutis, but they are uncommon in the oral cavity. Intramuscular lipo-mas are exceedingly rare in the oral cavity, and males are more often afflicted than females.
