穿刺後に急速増大した口腔底海綿状血管腫例

Cavernous Hemangioma of the Floor of the Mouth Enlarging after Needle Biopsy

　はじめに

　口腔領域には血管腫が好発する。口腔底の血管腫は発生部位の特殊性から，腫瘍が増大すると嚥下障害や言語障害などを生じ，さらに増大を続ければ呼吸障害も発生する。

　今回われわれは，試験穿刺により急速増大した口腔底血管腫を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加え報告する。

A 42-year-old female presented with a localized lesion in the oral cavity. After a fine needle aspirationbiopsy of the mass at another hospital, the mass was rap-idly enlarging.

CT and MRI showed a mass lying in the floor of the mouth. Carotid arteriography demonstrated a vascular lesion fed by a branch of the lingual artery.

The resection carried out under general anaesthesia. The branch of the lingual artery was ligated and trache-otomy was performed.

The tumor was resected completely. Histopathological examination showed cavernous hemangioma.
