ピアス型イヤリングが原因と思われた耳介腫瘤の2症例

A Large Mass of Earlobe Induced by Ear Piercing:Report of Two Cases

　はじめに

　近年，わが国においてもピアス装着は若年者を中心に増加しており，女性に限らず男性にも多く装着されるようになっている。また，ピアスの装着部位もデザインも多様化し，これに伴い様々なトラブルも報告されている^1）。

　今回われわれは，ピアス型イヤリングが原因と思われる比較的大きな耳介腫瘤の2症例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加え報告する。

It is generally known that ear piercing can cause various complications. Each of two young patients(20 years old male, 20 years old female) presented with a large mass in the ear lobe. The mass of the earlobe was enlarged by chronic stimulation and weight of mass in both of them. Surgical resection was performed for treatment and diagnosis. Histo-pathological diagnosis was keloid. They were both susceptible patients of keloid. It is suggested that we should research whether they have keloid formation in any parts of body or not before piercing.
