鼻脳型ムコール真菌症の1例

A Case of Rhinocerebral Mucormycosis

　はじめに

　ムコール真菌は健常な人でも鼻腔から検出されることがあるが，病原性は弱い。しかし，悪性腫瘍や白血病，ステロイド治療，糖尿病に伴って発症することがあり，死亡率が高い疾患である。

　今回われわれは，糖尿病に合併し治療抵抗性の脳神経症状を伴った鼻脳型ムコール真菌症を1例経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

A 57-year-old man with diabetes mellitus and chronic renal failure, visited our clinic with com-plaints of a cheek swelling, double vision, facial nerve palsy.

Biopsy of the hard plate mucosa was performed and showed broad nonseptated fungus compatible with mucor.

He was treated with chemotherapy, necrotomy with successful result and diabetes mellitus was also well controlled.
