下顎骨体部に発生した中心性骨腫の1例

A Case of Central Osteoma of the Mandible

　はじめに

　今回われわれは，26歳，女性の下顎骨体部に発生した骨腫の1例を経験した。骨腫には周辺性骨腫と中心性骨腫とがあり，後者は稀であるとされている^1,2）。本症例の病理組織学的診断は緻密骨腫で，下顎骨内部に生じた中心性骨腫であった。文献的考察を加えて報告する。

A 26-year-old woman presented with a central osteoma of the mandible which is rare compared with peripheral osteoma. The osteoma was partially resected to preserve the mandible body and teeth. Histopathological diagnosis was compact osteoma. There was no evidence of recurrence up to the time of this report.
