下咽頭癌患者の手術前後の細胞性免疫能の経時的変動

Fluctuation of Cellular Immunity Before and After Operative Treatment in Patients with Hypopharyngeal Carcinoma

　はじめに

　下咽頭癌患者は，初診時すでに進行している例が多く治療も困難な例が多い。しかし，再建術を含めた手術が施行されるようになり，その治療成績は向上しつつある。また，外科的治療に加えて化学療法や放射線療法も施行される場合もある。これらの治療は侵襲が大きく，患者にとって体力的負担の大きいものであり，治療後には肉体的に消耗していることが多い。最近，下咽頭癌患者の治療の過程で，患者の細胞性免疫能の低下が指摘されつつある^1）。われわれは，下咽頭癌患者の治療前および手術後の細胞性免疫能の変動を経時的に観察した。その結果に若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

The cellular immunity in patients with hypopha-ryngeal carcinoma was examined in pre and post operatively. The cellular immunity was depressed preoperatively and more depressed in most of the patients after the surgical procedure. The lymphoid cell counts were recovered in a month after opera-tion, but the reactivity of lymphoid cells to the mitogen required for its recovery more than a month.
