鼓室型グロームス腫瘍の1例

Glomus Tympanicum Tumor:Report of a Case

　はじめに

　グロームス腫瘍はその発生部位により鼓室型と頸静脈球型に分類され，そのうち鼓室型は自験例を含め29例が報告されている。グロームス腫瘍は組織学的には良性である。しかし浸潤性に発育し，臨床的には悪性と考えられる。手術に際しては，腫瘍が血管に富むため術中の出血が問題となる。今回われわれはレーザーを用いた手術治療を行い，少量の術中出血で腫瘍を摘出した。術後放射線照射も併用し，予後良好な経過を示したので文献的考察を加え報告する。

Glomus tumor of the ear is rather rare in Japan.We report a case of tympanic type of glomus tumor which was totally removed by Lezer technique and treated by postoperative irradiation. No recurrence was found 3 years after the treatment. Early diagno-sis, proper therapy and long term observation were important of this disease.
