上咽頭側壁にみられた嚢胞の1例

A Case of Epipharyngeal Cyst

　はじめに

　上咽頭の良性腫瘍は悪性腫瘍に比して発生は稀であり，そのなかでは実質性の腫瘍が多く，嚢胞は稀である^{1, 2）}。上咽頭の嚢胞は，先天性のものと後天性のものの鑑別診断が難しく，発生母地，発生部位について様々な分類がなされている^3〜9）が，いずれも普及，定着するにはいたらず，汎用される分類法は確立されていない。今回われわれは，上咽頭側壁に発生した上皮嚢胞（epithelial cyst）の1症例を経験したので若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

A 42-year-old female with allergic rhinitis was found an asymptomatic epipharyngeal cyst which seemed to arise from the right lateral wall of the epipharynx. This cyst appeared to be a retention cyst of the seromucinous glands and to be classified as the acquired true cyst of the lateral epipharynx.
