内頸静脈血栓症の1例

Internal Jugular Vein Thrombosis:Report of a Case

　はじめに

　静脈血栓症はほとんどが下肢の静脈に起こり，内頸静脈の血栓症は比較的まれな疾患と考えられる。今回，扁桃周囲膿瘍による炎症が原因と考えられる内頸静脈血栓症で保存的治療が奏効し，また造影CTによる評価が診断と経過観察について有効であった症例を経験したので報告する。

A 28-year-old male patient complained of pain and a swelling in the right neck following acute tonsillitis.

Internal jugular vein thrombosis was diagnosed. IV-DSA, MRI, CT, and ultrasonography were per-formed to estimate the size of this thrombus and the effect of drugs. The enhanced CT was found the most useful method in this case. For treatment, antibiotics were not so effective. However, about 3 weeks for anti-coagulant therapy, the thrombus was disappeared.
