前頸部腫瘤として初発した腺様嚢胞癌の1症例

Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma of the Trachea manifested as an Anterior Neck Tumor:Report of a Case

　はじめに

　気管原発の悪性腫瘍の発生頻度は極めて低いものの^1），その中では腺様嚢胞癌は過半数を占めている^2,3）。腺様嚢胞癌は腫瘍の発育が遅く，気管閉塞などの症状が緩徐に進行するため確定診断に時間を要するものが多い^4）。また，稀な疾患であるために治療方針などについても諸種の問題点が存在する^5）。われわれは最近，前頸部腫瘤として初発した腺様嚢胞癌の1症例を経験したので，その治療経過を，若干の文献的考察とともに報告する。

A 56-year-old man was complaining of an ante-rior neck tumor. Thyroid carcinoma with invasion to the larynx was first suspected by CT. However, the surgical findings confirmed adenoid cystic car-cinoma of the trachea, which progressively extended to the anterior neck. Adenoid cystic car-cinoma presented as an anterior neck tumor without obstruction of the air way seems rare.
