Immediate Reconstruction of Lower Lip Cancer using Naso-labial Flap:Report of a Case

　緒言

　口唇癌における外科的切除後の再建では，その組織欠損が生じる機能障害を回避するのみならず，審美性を十分に考慮した再建法を選択する必要がある^1〜7）。

　今回，われわれは下唇癌の症例に対し術前化学療法を行ったところ腫瘍の著明な縮小を認めたため，審美性と機能を温存する目的から口角を含めた下唇の部分切除を行い，naso-labial flap^6,7）を用いた即時再建を試み，機能的，審美的にも満足のいく成績が得られたのでその概要を報告する。

It is well known that lip cancer is rare in Japanese compared with Europaeans and Americans.

It is important to reconstruct the lip preserving its aesthetic and function after the lip resection.

We recently treated a 67-year-old male with lower lip cancer (T1N0M0) and reconstructed immediately the defect by a naso-labial flap, obtain-ing good cosmetic and functional results.
