  • Look Inside

A 64-year-old man complained of foreign body feeling in the throat presented with advanced hypo-pharyngeal cancer with early esophageal cancer. After induction chemotherapy, the patient under-went total pharyngolaryngoesophagectomy, right radical neck dissection and reconstructive surgery by colonic interposition with vascular reconstruc-tion in the cervical region. In arterial reconstruc-tion, the right gastroepiploic artery was used as an end-to-end arterial graft between the thyrocervical trunk and the middle colic artery. In the venous anastomosis, the middle colic vein was anastomosed end-to-side to the external jugular vein.
