頭頸部領域に転移した腎癌の3症例

Metastasis of Renal Cell Carcinoma to Head and Neck Region: Report of Three Cases

　はじめに

　腎癌は転移の頻度が高く，全身のあらゆる臓器へ転移する可能性がある。頭頸部領域も例外ではなく，腎癌転移について認識する必要がある。当科では最近の5年間に，頭頸部領域へ転移した腎癌を3症例経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加え報告する。

Metastatic lesions were found in the bilateral thyroid glands, epiglottis, and ethmoid sinuses 16 years after radical nephrectomy. Pathological diag-nosis was clear cell carcinoma in all cases. Each patient underwent total thyroidectomy, horizontal partial laryngectomy, and conservative chemother-apy. As general, the removal of the lesions is a choice of treatment. But when renal cell carcinoma metastasized to the region such as ethmoid sinuses, complete resection is impossible.
