I．緒言

　海綿静脈洞血栓症の原因は種々あるが，顔面及び頭部には豊富なる静脈網が存し，之と交通を有するので，この部分に於ける化膿性疾患は海綿静脈洞迄波及し，予後重篤なる疾患を招来する可能性あるは，想像に難くない。私共は軽快せる2例の海綿静脈洞血機症を経験したので，こゝに報告する。

Two cases with thrombosis of sinus cavernosus have been stated. Case 1. A female of 12 year old with empyemisis of sinus ethmoidei : thrombosis appeared after the infection with influenza and slight irritation of cerebral meninges, blepharoedema, exophthalmus, diplo-pia, contraction of the visual field, and positive reactionin the Queckenstedt's test on me-dullary liquor were observed. Antibiotics such as Chloromycetine cured the case rapidly. The cause of this case might be a joint action of empyemisis of sinus ethmoidei and of influenza.
